Abstract:
A railway flatcar and a car body thereof. The car body comprises a chassis, the chassis comprising two side beams provided in parallel, a middle beam located between the two side beams, and a first cross beam connected between the side beams and the middle beam; the middle beam is of a box-shaped structure, and the thickness of the middle area of the middle beam is larger than that of the end area of the middle beam. According to the solution, the dead weight of the railway flatcar can be reduced by means of structural optimization, thereby facilitating the improvement of transportation economic benefits.
