Abstract:
The invention relates to a railway sleeper having a sleeper body (1) made of fibre-reinforced plastic in the form of a substantially U-shaped longitudinal profile, comprising a top beam (2) and two support beams (3) connecting to the longitudinal sides of the top beam (2), wherein an inner region (4) of the railway sleeper is defined by the top beam (2) and the two support beams (3), and wherein apertures (5) for the arrangement of at least two fastening devices for receiving rails (13) are provided in the top beam (2), which fastening devices each comprise a rib plate (6) arrangeable on the upper side of the top beam (2) and an anchor plate (8) arrangeable on the underside of the top beam (2) and connectable to the rib plate (6) via connection means (7). The anchor plate (8) has at least one support protrusion (9) that runs transverse to the longitudinal direction of the sleeper body (1) and, in the installed state, is oriented substantially downwards at an angle from the anchor plate (8), and protects against transverse displacements. The anchor plates (8) of a railway sleeper are manufactured from fibre-reinforced plastic and, in the installed state, are connected to one another via stabilising portions (14) or stabilising elements (14a).
