An inlet for a ram air turbine ( 200 ). The inlet is positioned forward of a turbine shaft, which is configured to rotate about a portion of an object ( 100 ). The inlet has a fixed geometry that chokes airflow through the inlet to prevent overspeed of the turbine shaft.
