Abstract:
The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a random access control method, comprising in a random access process, if a bandwidth part switch command for a cell associated with the random access process is received, determining whether the random access process is successful; if the random access process is not successful, stopping the random access process; and switching a bandwidth part according to the bandwidth part switch command, and not continuing the random access process in the switched bandwidth part. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, it is possible to avoid the situation in the related art that, to continue a previously stopped random access process, a switch operation made according to a bandwidth switch instruction is not actually executed, causing waste of user equipment resources. Therefore, it is ensured that the bandwidth switch instruction is actually executed, and the user equipment is able to continue communications by means of the switched bandwidth part.
