Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a random access method and apparatus, a terminal device, and a network device. The method comprises: a terminal device determines a random access parameter corresponding to at least one target TRP, wherein the target TRP is a TRP, of which an uplink with the terminal device is in an out-of-synchronization state, in a plurality of TRPs, and at least some of the random access parameters corresponding to different TRPs are different; and the terminal device transmits a physical random access channel (PRACH) to the at least one target TRP on the basis of the random access parameter corresponding to the at least one target TRP, wherein the PRACH is used for acquiring timing advance (TA) information corresponding to the at least one target TRP.
