Abstract:
The present invention reduces light leakage of irradiation light to the light-receiving side in a range finding module that uses a Time of Flight (ToF) method. A light-receiving surface of a sensor chip has a first pixel region in which a plurality of first pixels that receive reflected light with respect to irradiation light from a light source are arrayed, and a second pixel region in which second pixels are arrayed between the first pixel region and the light source. A light shielding wall is disposed between the first pixel region and the second pixel region. The sensor chip is connected to a support substrate, and the support substrate has openings formed to guide the reflected light to the first pixel region and the second pixel region.
