Abstract:
A range hood according to one disclosed aspect comprises: a first case including a first inlet provided in the bottom surface thereof, and a damper provided on the top surface thereof; a second case which is disposed on the first case so as to form a space in which a fan module is provided, and which includes a second inlet provided in the side surface thereof; a first sensor which is provided inside the second case and which detects contaminants; a second sensor which is provided above the first sensor and which detects contaminants; and a controller for controlling the output of the fan module and the opening/closing of the damper on the basis of data on contaminant concentrations obtained from the first sensor and the second sensor.
