Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rangefinding technique with which it is possible to highly precisely measure the distance to an object even when a timing difference between ADC channels fluctuates each time a signal is acquired. This rangefinder 1 comprises: an optical system having a correction mirror 105 disposed on an object 104 side, and a PDs 107 for detecting reflection light obtained when light that has been outputted from a light source 100 and that periodically undergoes intensity modulation is reflected by each of the object 104 and the correction mirror 105; and a signal processing device 109 having a rangefinding unit 110 that outputs a distance signal Ln indicating the distance to the object 104 on the basis of the time elapsed until the reflection light is detected by the PDs 107, a correction mirror rangefinding unit 111 that outputs a distance signal Lcor indicating the distance to the correction mirror 105, and a distance correction unit 112 that corrects the distance signal Ln on the basis of the distance signal Lcor and outputs a distance signal Ln, cor indicating the distance to the object 104.
