Title:
RANGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/245778
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A ranging device (1) has a subject interferometer (103) that detects interference light between light from a wavelength scanning light source (100) and reflected light that has been reflected by a measurement subject (104), and a reference interferometer (102) that detects interference light between light outputted from a light source and light having a prescribed optical path length difference. The ranging device (1) uses a single-frequency-equivalent distance calculated using the scanning phase width or the scanning frequency width of a relative phase calculated from a phase change curve of an interference signal from the reference interferometer (102), also uses a resampling timing calculated using the phase change curve and a prescribed phase gap, and moreover uses the peak frequency of a signal in which the interference signal from the subject interferometer (103) is sampled, to calculate the distance to the measurement subject (104) in the subject interferometer (103). This makes it possible to realize a ranging device in which measurement precision is improved and fluctuations in ranging results with respect to fluctuations in scanning frequency width are suppressed.
