Abstract:
 The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a novel compound for measuring cytotoxicity or cellular proliferative potential accurately, simply, and rapidly at high reproducibility; and a method for measuring cytotoxicity or cellular proliferative potential using this compound. The present invention pertains to a compound represented by formula (I): (in the formula, R1 represents a substituent, R2 and R3 each represent an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group or an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, Y represents a substituent, m represents an integer of 0-3, Z represents a single bond, -O-, -S-, -SO-, -SO2-, or -NR4- (R4 represents a hydrogen atom or substituent), and A represents an optionally substituted C1-6 alkylene group), or a salt thereof.
