Abstract:
A rapid mounting hallow wall anchor comprises a cleat, and a T-shaped anchor structure with latching cogs (05) on its stem (01). The cleat comprises a tube (10) with a flange (12) near or at one end of the tube (10). There are latching teeth (14) inside of the tube (10) for engaging the latching cogs (05) on the stem (01). The tube flange (12) can be made to have a groove (15) or hook (40) on which objects can be hung. A cross bar (02) joins one end of the stem (01) with a cross bar hinge (03). The cross bar hinge (03) allows the cross bar (02) to be bent for insertion into a drilled hole (20) in a plasterboard (21) of a hallow wall.
