Abstract:
A rare earth element-free aluminum alloy for 3D printing, comprising the following components in percentage by weight: Mn: 2.5%-4.5%, Mg: 1.5%-9.5%, and the balance of Al and impurity elements; or Mn: 4.5%-6.0% and Mg: 1.5%-7.5%. The alloy can achieve excellent strength or plasticity, and compared with Al-Mg-Sc-Zr aluminum alloys, rare earth resources can be saved and the raw material cost can be greatly reduced.
