Abstract:
Provided are rare earth storage medium particles and a rare earth storage medium particle group having long-term high reliability, a cold head using these, a superconducting magnet, an inspection device, and a cryopump. Rare earth storage medium particles containing rare earth elements in the constituent components, wherein a peak indicating a carbon component is detected in the surface region by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis.
