[Problem] To provide a re-identification device that enables the precision of re-identification of objects to be improved. [Solution] Included are: an acquisition unit that acquires captured images in which the shape of an object has changed in accordance with the position of the object in a region captured by an image capture device due to distortion properties of the image capture device; an object detection unit that detects an object region from the captured images that contains the object; a trajectory inference unit that infers a movement trajectory of the object region in the captured images from each image capture device on the basis of changes over time in the position of the object region; and a re-identification unit that, using object regions within a specific scope in the captured images, the scope being defined so as to be optimized for precision of inference for an object class, and a model learned when the specific scope was defined, infers whether or not the objects included in the respective detected object regions in the images captured by each of the plurality of image capture devices are identical and infers that the movement trajectories of object regions including objects inferred to be identical on the basis of the results of the inference are the movement trajectories of the same object.
