Abstract:
The present invention relates to a reaction and regeneration system and method for preparing propylene from methanol, the system comprising a reactor, a heating furnace, a heat exchanger, an inlet stream switching valve, an outlet stream switching valve, and a separating unit; switching between reaction and regeneration states is implemented by means of controlling the inlet stream switching valve; the catalyst is internally arranged in the reactor; during the reaction process, a reaction material enters the reactor via a raw material channel, and after reaction inside the reactor, is discharged in the form of a product via a product channel; during the regeneration process, regeneration gas enters the reactor via the raw material channel and regenerates the catalyst in the reactor, the regeneration exhaust gas being discharged from the outlet stream switching valve via the product channel. Compared to the prior art, the present invention uses a single stage adiabatic fixed bed reactor to prepare propylene from methanol, reducing the generation of by-products and having high propylene selectivity; the airspeed of the reactor is also increased, reducing the amount of catalyst used.
