Abstract:
[Problem] To provide silicone elastomer particles that comprise a crosslinked structure having an activity against biodegradability and that, when mixed into a cosmetic composition or similar, can achieve an equal or better tactile feeling and feeling of use as existing silicone elastomer particles, a reactive group-including polycaprolactone compound that comprises a specific structure and is useful as a raw material for a synthesis reaction for said silicone elastomer particles, and manufacturing methods for these. [Solution] A reactive group-including polycaprolactone compound (specifically, a compound selected from among a (meth)acrylic-modified polycaprolactone compound and an alkenyl-modified polycaprolactone compound) that has two or more modified polycaprolactone structures with the structure of structural formula (1) (in this formula, n is a number within the range 1-5, and Ra is a specific (meth)acrylic terminal group or alkenyl terminal group). Additionally, the use of said reactive group-including polycaprolactone compound as a raw material for silicone elastomer particles.
