Abstract:

A reading device (R) for transmission type film which comprises film holding means having an arcuate surface (11) which approximates a free flexure curve of a film (F), a drive roller (23) arranged below the arcuate surface (11), a driven roller (24) corresponding to the drive roller (23) to be arranged above the arcuate surface (11), and film conveying means constructed such that a driving member for the drive roller (23) can contact with the rear surface of the film (F) and a driven member of the driven roller (24) can contact with the front surface of the film (F).
