Abstract:
A rear pillar (4) comprises a rear pillar inner panel (33) and a rear pillar reinforcement (34). The rear pillar inner panel (33) and the rear pillar reinforcement (34) have: ridge lines (X1, X2); and substantially L-shaped corner sections (C1, C2) forming protrusions on the rear pillar inner panel (33) side. The corner sections (C1, C2) are arranged lined up in a direction towards a reinforcement (50) and have an L-shaped closed cross-section (40) formed therebetween. The reinforcement (50) is directly connected to the corner sections (C1, C2) without having the closed cross-section interposed therebetween. An upper section of the L-shaped closed cross-section (40) is connected to a rear header closed cross-section (19).
