Abstract:
Two correlation signals generated by calculating the correlation between one of two reference signals generated according to a combination of crosstalk factors and a received signal and the correlation between the other and the received signal are inputted into cells at level 0. A soft-decision object signal at level 1 is generated from soft-decision object signals outputted from two cells at level 0. Similarly, a cell at level (N+1) is formed using two cells at level N, thus constituting a soft-decision object signal generating section having a hierarchical structure. A decision unit outputs a soft decision value of a sub-channel of interest according to the soft decision object signal outputted from the cell at level (N+1) and decides the received signal.
