The present application relates to the technical field of electronics. Provided are a receiver, an electronic device, and an eye diagram testing method for a receiver, which are used to solve the problem in the prior art of it not being possible to display burst bit errors. The receiver comprises two signal paths, which are respectively a first signal path and a second signal path, wherein the first signal path is a signal conversion path for a normal service, and the second signal path is an eye diagram testing path for drawing an eye diagram. In the receiver, the second signal path uses a clock signal recovered by a clock data recovery unit in the first signal path, so as to perform phase shifting. By means of collecting digital signals which are sampled and output by the second signal path, an eye diagram is drawn, and can visually reflect the quality of a received signal. By means of processing the eye diagram, a corresponding control signal is obtained to adjust parameters of a signal processing system, such that the bit error rate of a signal is reduced, thereby improving the reliability of a signal system.
