The inventive receptacle containing an advertising element therein, comprises a body fitted with a plug, and is also provided with a cavity which protrudes therein and has a defined form. A light source fitted with a cut-off switch is arranged inside the body. The cut-off switch is mounted on the plug or lid which is provided fitted with a re-usable quickly-detachable cap. The protruded cavity can be embodied in the plug, in a wall or in the bottom of the receptacle. Said receptacle can be made of opal glass but can have a transparent area under the label. The label can be made of a partially transparent material or be perforated along a contour thereof. The body of the receptacle can have an artistic form, for example it can be embodied in the form of a light bulb and the plug can have the form of a lamp cap.
