Abstract:
A reception apparatus, which receives transmission signals transmitted from a transmission apparatus by use of a MIMO transmission method, comprises: a stream selecting unit that divides streams, which were transmitted by the transmission apparatus, into first and second stream groups; and a transmission candidate searching unit that generates at least one candidate of the first stream group, generates linear detection signals of the second stream group on the basis of the candidate of the first stream group, thereby generating transmission candidates, calculates metrics of the transmission candidates, and that selects one of the transmission candidates the metric of which is the smallest.
