Abstract:
Disclosed is a reception apparatus that has solved a problem that fluctuations cannot be followed immediately after a commencement of turbo equalization in a high-speed fading environment. The reception apparatus comprises a soft interference canceler, an MMSE equalizer, a likelihood calculation unit, a deinterleaver, an SISO decoder, an information bit hard decision device, a subtracter, an interleaver, a soft estimation value calculation unit, a 0 storage device, a known signal storage memory unit, a transmission path estimator, and a plurality of switches. At the time of the first equalization, the transmission path estimator uses, as a reference signal, a known signal stored in the known signal storage memory unit or an output from the MMSE equalizer. At the time of each of the second and following equalizations, the transmission path estimator uses, as the reference signal, the known signal stored in the known signal storage memory unit or an output from the soft estimation value calculation unit. On the other hand, at time of the first equalization, the interference canceler is given a 0-value from the 0 storage device as the reference signal.
