Abstract:
The present invention reduces the possibility of problems such as frame loss, increased display delay, etc., when a disturbance occurs in a communication path. Provided is a reception device, comprising: a reception unit for sequentially receiving, by wireless communication, image information transmitted by a transmission device at a given first interval; a display unit for sequentially displaying a frame image on the basis of the image information in accordance with a display clock and generating display time information representing a time corresponding to the update time of the frame image; and a control unit for calculating, on the basis of a plurality of pieces of the display time information, a second interval representing the interval at which display of the frame image is performed and controlling the update period of the frame image corresponding to the display clock so that the second interval approaches the first interval.
