Abstract:
Provided is a reception device which comprises: a function unit which performs processing in relation to data received by broadcast or communication; an application storage unit for storing an application program; an application execution unit for reading and executing the application program from the application storage unit according to an activation instruction, and based on the application program, invoking the processing of the function unit via an application programming interface; and an application programming interface management control unit for, when the application execution unit invokes the processing of the function unit via the application programming interface, performing control to allow or disallow said invocation based on a judgement corresponding to the attribute information of the application program.
