Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rechargeable battery defect inspection device and defect inspection method. The rechargeable battery defect inspection device, according to the present invention, comprises: a pair of pressing jigs which press, in directions facing each other, an electrode assembly or the outer surface of a pouch having the electrode assembly received therein, and which have a plurality of protrusion parts protrudingly formed on the pressing surfaces thereof; and a measurement unit which measures any one or more of the current, voltage or resistance of the electrode assembly when the electrode assembly is pressed by the plurality of protrusion parts of the pair of pressing jigs.
