Abstract:
A reciprocating compressor is provided. The reciprocating compressor according to an aspect of the present specification comprises: a case; a drive motor which is disposed in the case; a rotating shaft which is connected to the drive motor; a cylinder which is disposed in the case and forms a compression space; a piston which linearly reciprocates within the cylinder according to rotation of the rotating shaft; a valve assembly which includes an intake hole and a discharge hole and is coupled to the leading end of the cylinder; an intake valve which is coupled inside the valve assembly and opens/closes the intake hole; an intake muffler which is coupled outside the valve assembly and communicates with the intake hole; and an elastic member one side of which is coupled inside the intake muffler and the other side of which passes through the intake hole.
