Abstract:
A reciprocating compressor is provided. A reciprocating compressor according to one aspect of the present specification may comprise: a case; a drive motor disposed inside the case; a rotary shaft connected to the drive motor; a cylinder disposed inside the case and forming a compression space; a piston that linearly reciprocates in the cylinder according to the rotation of the rotary shaft; a valve assembly including a suction hole and a discharge hole and coupled to the front end of the cylinder; a suction muffler coupled to the valve assembly and communicating with the suction hole; a suction pipe passing through the case and facing a muffler hole of the suction muffler; and a first guide member coupled to the muffler hole of the suction muffler and overlapping the suction pipe in a vertical direction.
