Abstract:

A reciprocation mechanism for a pivoting body, provided with: an arm body pivotably provided to a door and having a striker provided to the free end side of the arm body; a receiving member provided to a door frame so as to be slidable between a first position and a second position in the direction intersecting the direction of pivoting of the door; and a pressing means for pressing the receiving member toward the second position. The receiving member is adapted so as to be held at the first position while resisting the above-mentioned pressing action and, after capturing the striker at the first position in the process of closing the door, to be released from being held at the first position and moved to the second position by the above-mentioned pressing action.
