Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a recombinant microorganism having 2,3-dehydroadipyl-CoA reductase activity and a method for producing a C6 compound. Also, to provide a recombinant microorganism capable of producing adipic acid or an adipic acid derivative and a method for producing adipic acid or an adipic acid derivative. [Solution] A recombinant microorganism that contains an exogenous gene encoding a protein having an enzymatic activity to reduce 2,3-dehydroadipyl-CoA into adipyl-CoA and/or an exogenous gene encoding 3-hydroxyadipyl-CoA dehydratase.
