Abstract:
A recommendation system according to one embodiment may comprise: a recommendation model trained in advance on the basis of the past item history of multiple users; and a user-item matrix predicted by the recommendation model, and may comprise a server, which extracts, from the predicted user-item matrix according to receiving of a recommendation request, a first partial matrix for approximating the recommendation model to a dedicated recommendation model for a target user, and transmits same. The recommendation system may comprise an electronic device which transmits the recommendation request, and which provides, on the basis of the item history of the target user when the recommendation request is transmitted, the target user with a recommended item by using the dedicated recommendation model trained on the basis of a second partial matrix generated by reprocessing the first partial matrix.
