Abstract:
This recording device, which comprises a communication unit and records moving-image data received from an imaging device via the communication unit, comprises: an image file recording unit that starts recording of the moving-image data from the imaging device in response to reception of a recording start command via the communication unit, and terminates the recording of the moving-image data in response to reception of a recording termination command via the communication unit, thereby recording a moving-image file; and a meta file recording unit that starts creation of a meta file related to the moving-image data on the basis of information received at the time of receiving the recording start command via the communication unit and relating to the creation of the meta file, and completes the meta file with meta data received at the time of receiving the recording termination command.
