Title:
RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/058614
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A recording device, wherein the holding pressures of both end star spurs (6a, 6e) disposed on the outermost sides of a second conveying means (12) in a main scanning direction are set higher than the holding pressures of the other star spurs (6b to 6d) in a pressure range lower than the holding pressures in a first conveying means. If the tip of a recording medium (1) is deformed downward when the tip of the recording medium (1) reaches the second conveying means (12), though the recording medium (1) forces to raise the star spur (6) upward, the recording medium (1) is held by second drive rollers (5) and the star spurs (6) with the deformations of the recording medium (1) at the corner parts thereof corrected and conveyed in ideal state because the holding pressures of both end star spurs (6a, 6e) holding the front end corner parts of the recording medium (1) are set to values necessary and sufficient for correcting the deformations of the recording medium (1) at the corner parts thereof.
