Abstract:
Provided is a recording device such that the occurrence of wrinkles during conveyance in a conveyance path can be minimized. A recording medium conveying device is equipped with driving rollers (111) and driven rollers (112), which are arranged with their axes parallel to each other, and conveys a recording medium (1) by driving the driving rollers (111) while the recording medium (1) is held between the driving rollers (111) and the driven rollers (112). The driven rollers (112) are supported so as to be movable from predetermined positions in the roller axial direction. When no recording medium (1) is held between the driven rollers (112) and the driving rollers (111) and the driven rollers (112) are separated from the driving rollers (111), the driven rollers (112) are urged back to the predetermined positions.
