Abstract:
Provided is a method that recovers high yields of an acid of an anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier from a basic ion exchange resin to which is physisorbed a nonionic surfactant and to which is adsorbed the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier. A method wherein an acid of an anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier is eluted and recovered from a basic ion exchange resin by executing a step (1) wherein a water-soluble organic solvent is brought into contact with the basic ion exchange resin, which has physisorbed thereto a nonionic surfactant and has adsorbed thereto the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier, and by executing a step (2) wherein the acid of the anionic fluorine-containing emulsifier is recovered from the basic ion exchange resin, from which the nonionic surfactant is eluted in step (1).
