Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a reducing agent-free vacuum iron production method. Under a vacuum condition of 10-10-9 Pa, laser or a solar focused light beam having a power density of 10-104 W/cm2 is used to irradiate an iron-containing oxide (mineral) sample at an angle of 0.5-90° for decomposition to produce elemental iron and a gaseous substance of oxygen; a circulating cooling collector is placed at 1-500 cm above the sample to deposit and collect a product containing metal iron; finally, mineral separation is used to obtain metal iron powder, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing agent-free zero-carbon clean iron production. The reducing agent-free vacuum iron production method provided by the present invention is simple, easy to operate and environment-friendly, features zero carbon and zero emission, has the potential of large-scale continuous production, and is expected to be applied to the technical field of future intelligent clean high-efficiency iron production and on-site metallurgy of extraterrestrial iron-containing mineral resources.
