Abstract:
This reel holding device comprises: a main body; a pressing plate which can be open/closed with respect to the main body so as to press a side surface perpendicular to a center axis of a reel on which a component supply tape is wound and which is stored in a reel holder; and a holding part which suctions and holds the pressing plate by means of a magnetic force in a closed state in which the pressing plate presses the reel, wherein the holding part has a suction portion for suctioning the pressing plate and a peripheral portion adjacent to the suction portion, and in at least a portion of the peripheral portion, a magnetic force greater than the magnetic force in the suction portion is generated.
