Abstract:
A reel allowing the saving of a storing space, wherein a generally cylindrical core (1) for winding up a long wound member on the outer periphery thereof is formed so as to be folded flat along any center line orthogonal to the center axis of the core (1). Engagement recessed parts (20) are formed in generally disk-like side plate parts (2), and the side plate parts (2) are formed attachable to and detachable from engagement projected parts (3) formed at both axial end parts of the core (1). In an unused state, the core (1) can be folded flat along any center line orthogonal to the center axis of the core (1) and the flat core (1) can be overlapped flat on the side plate parts (2) removed from the core (1). As a result, the storing space can be saved.
