Abstract:

Embodiments of the present application relate to a reference signal port indication method and apparatus, capable of effectively indicating more ports. The method comprises: a network device determines first information and second information; and the network device sends the first information and the second information to a terminal device. The first information is used for indicating reference signal port indexes corresponding to m code division multiplexing groups, wherein m is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and the numbers of orthogonal ports supported by at least two of the m code division multiplexing groups are different. The second information is used for indicating a first reference signal port index in reference signal port correspondence indicated by the reference signal port indexes corresponding to the m code division multiplexing groups, and the first reference signal port index is used for indicating a port used by a reference signal.
