Abstract:
Provided are a reference signal sending method and a communication device. The reference signal sending method comprises: a first device generates a tracking reference signal, the tracking reference signal being corresponding to a DMRS port used when the first device sends data to a second device, and the tracking reference signal being used for tracking phase changes experienced when the tracking reference signal is transmitted on a channel corresponding to the DMRS port; the first device maps the tracking reference signal to time-frequency resources used when the first device sends the data to the second device through the DMRS port, the tracking reference signal being mapped to at least two modulation symbols on a same frequency resource in a transmission timeslot; and the first device sends, to the second device, the tracking reference signal mapped to the time-frequency resources.
