Abstract:
A reflect array for reflecting an incident wave in a desired direction contains: a substrate having a surface that is perpendicular to a predetermined axis; and at least a first and second element group disposed on the substrate and each containing multiple elements for reflecting an electric wave. The first and second element groups reflect an electric wave, which enters at an angle that is not zero degrees relative to the predetermined axis, at a different reflection phase from one another. The multiple elements in the first element group reflect the electric wave at a first reflection phase, and the multiple elements in the second element group reflect the electric wave at a second reflection phase that is different from the first reflection phase.
