Abstract:
A reflection type projection screen has the following construction. A base fabric (4) of glass fiber, a white opaque base material sheet (3) formed of a plastic sheet and a translucent plastic light diffusing layer (1) in which a luminescent pigment or calcite powder is mixed are provided in the described order on a light absorbing layer (5) formed of a dark plastic sheet or solidly printed with a dark ink. Emboss (9) is applied onto the surface of the light diffusing layer (1). It is preferable to provide a reflecting layer (2) printed with ink incorporating therein the luminescent pigment or calcite powder is provided beneath the light diffusing layer (1). Light absorbing stripes (11) are provided on the surface opposed to the light diffusing layer (1) of the base material (3) and in positions corresponding to recesses (9a) of the emboss (9). Furthermore, there are disclosed the method of effectively manufacturing the reflection type screen having the emboss and the system for manufacturing the same.
