Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a reflective material mold having a flat-topped microprism array and a manufacturing method therefor. The reflective material mold is formed by unit flat-topped microprism arrays, and the side surfaces of a unit flat-topped microprism are quadrilateral. According to the present invention, micro V-shaped grooves are planed in a first direction by means of a V-shaped cutter, and after planing is carried out in the entire first direction, micro V-shaped grooves are planed in a next planing direction, such that the reflective material mold having the same unit flat-topped microprism arrays is constructed; and according to the manufacturing method, the planing frequency is reduced, the mold production efficiency is improved, the planing difficulty is reduced, and a manufactured reflective material having flat-topped microprism arrays has the excellent characteristics of satisfying large-angle incidence and observation conditions and keeping a high retroreflection coefficient, is beneficial to improving a wide angle-of-view range, in particular the visibility of reflective signs of road sections having a large blind spot such as expressway entrance and exit ramps and interchange curve guide roads, and improves the safe driving coefficient.
