Abstract:
A refrigerant cycle device comprises: a capturing unit that is connected between a compressor and use-side heat exchangers so as to separate a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit and a residual foreign substance; and a control unit that switches between performing and not performing residual foreign substance recovery operation, in which the refrigerant after update circulates in the capturing unit, depending upon the type of the refrigerant before update and the type of the refrigerant after update. The capturing unit has a first on-off valve provided in a flow passage of the capturing unit. The control unit has: an acquiring means for receiving information on the type of the refrigerant before update and the type of the refrigerant after update; a recovery operation determining means for determining whether or not to recover the residual foreign substance on the basis of the information on the type of the refrigerant before update and the type of the refrigerant after update received by the acquiring means; and a recovery operation control means for opening the first on-off valve if the recovery operation determining means determines to cause the refrigerant after update to circulate in the refrigerant circuit.
