A refrigerating system comprising a first compressor (232) and a second compressor (231) coupled, on the delivery sides, with one end of an outdoor heat exchanger (233) through a high pressure gas pipe (221). The other end of the outdoor heat exchanger (233) is branched to one end of a heat exchanger (234) for air-conditioning a room and one end of a heat exchanger (235) for cooling a compartment through a liquid pipe (222). Expansion valves (236, 237) are provided in the branch pipes (222b, 222c) of the liquid pipe (222). The other end of the heat exchanger (234) for air-conditioning is coupled with the suction side of the second compressor (231) through a second low pressure gas pipe (223). On the other hand, the other end of the heat exchanger (235) for cooling is coupled with the suction side of the first compressor (232) through a first low pressure gas pipe (224). Refrigerant is evaporated at different temperatures in the heat exchanger (234) for air-conditioning and the heat exchanger (235) for cooling.
