Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refrigeration appliance (1), in particular a domestic refrigerator (1) comprising: one or more than one refrigeration compartment (2, 3) for receiving articles to be refrigerated, a refrigeration circuit for refrigerating each refrigeration compartment (2, 3), a defrost circuit for defrosting the refrigeration circuit and for evaporating the water drained into an evaporator tray (4), a user interface for inputting a user selection and a control unit for controlling the refrigeration circuit, the defrost circuit and the user interface. In the refrigeration appliance (1) of the present invention the control unit includes a normal mode in which each refrigeration compartment (2, 3) is refrigerated and a user-selectable relocation mode in which the refrigeration circuit is completely defrosted and the water drained into the evaporator tray (4) is completely evaporated.
