Abstract:
The present invention provides a refrigeration appliance for tracking a stored item in a freezer compartment, and a method, comprising: starting an image capture sequence at a camera module to capture one or more two-dimensional images; on the basis of the two-dimensional image, identifying a first stored item and determining the position of the first stored item within a freezer drawer; and recording a descriptor and the position of the first stored item. By means of the configuration, a user can be assisted in checking or tracking contents of the refrigeration appliance.
