Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle apparatus comprises a compressor (11), a radiator (12), a decompressor (14), an evaporator (15) and a controller (60). The compressor (11) compresses and discharges a refrigerant. The radiator (12) exchanges heat between the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (11) and outside air. The decompressor (14) decompresses the refrigerant flowing out of the radiator (12). The evaporator (15) evaporates the refrigerant flowing out of the decompressor (14) to cool the fluid to be cooled. The controller (60) increases the throttle opening of the decompressor (14) when the temperature difference (ΔT) between a heat exchange fin temperature (Tefin) of the evaporator (15) and a saturation temperature (Tsat) of the refrigerant in the evaporator (15) becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined reference temperature difference (α1).
