The present invention has a compressor (111), a usage-side heat exchanger (171), a variable flowrate adjustment valve (EV2), and a heat source-side heat exchanger (112) and comprises: a main circuit through which a refrigerant flows; and a heat storage device (141) that absorbs and stores heat from the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (111) and radiates the stored heat to the refrigerant during defrosting operation.
