A refrigeration-cycle device (100) in which a control device (50) controls the opening and closing of electromagnetic valves (6 and 7) in accordance with which of the following is the case: a compressor (1) is starting up; said compressor (1) is running normally; said compressor (1) is running normally but the temperature of the motor thereof is increasing; or said compressor (1) is starting up from being stopped due to a low-pressure cutoff.
